Unloved tapes to good home!

We no longer have a VCR, but do still have a huge number of old video tapes. Is anyone out there interested in either the blank[1] tapes or the pile of pre-recorded ones[2]? I can't guarantee that they still work, but.... They're a bit cumbersome to post, but if we're going to be seeing you we can drop them off, or someone could collect from here if they wanted.

[1] two unused, and lots of ex-blank tapes, most of which have no labels.
[2] Mostly opera, anime, and 1990s films. I think there are a fair few kids things (Muppets, Disney and so on) in there. No, I'm not doing a list :)

Also, I've used a digital dictaphone for some time now, but still have half a dozen of the little 30-minute micro-cassettes for the older kind. I'm not willing to offer those on Freecycle or to a charity shop (which is where the VHS will go if no-one wants them), because I don't know what's on them, and it might be confidential, but I'm willing to trust a friend to wipe them.

We could use the video tapes, - any that other people do not want, or all of them if there are no takers at all. Hibernia is very committed to tapes, now that she has finally accepted that wax cylinders are no more;-)
