We wereI was either only just asleep or only just awake, but we certainly noticed the wobbling. [livejournal.com profile] stripey_cat expressed sleepy surprise that we'd had an earthquake strong enough to actually be felt, and we both went back to indeterminate snooziness. I'm not sure I'd agree with [livejournal.com profile] ladyofastolat's "strong enough to be exciting", although perhaps I would have been more excited if less asleep. Strong enough to be interesting, certainly.

For those who are interested in the seismograph traces and the like, full details are available online from the British Geological Society. (Although their website is responding rather slowly at present, funnily enough.)

[Edit: [livejournal.com profile] stripey_cat informs me that she definitely hadn't gone to sleep, and that she thought it was strong enough to be disturbing. "Like lying down in a bouncy castle when other people are jumping up and down", to use her own words.]
